Year 1 Milestones

1. Improving College Readiness
   • Implemented mandatory placement testing
     • Spring 2011 90% of students took the placement test
     • Developed placement testing review material
      
   • Refined developmental education curriculum and structure
     • Curriculum and structure recommendations have been made
     • Piloted developmental Math and English fast-track courses
     • Developmental education self-evaluation plan to begin
      
    
2. Create an institutional culture of student success (Shared Ownership)
   • Mission and vision statements have been revised
   • Campus-wide monthly "From the Desk of the President" updates
   • Student success featured in "Page One"
    

Year 2 Milestones

   • Mandatory Placement Testing
     • Placement testing review material availability has been communicated via, print and website, www.triton.edu/placementreview  
      
   • Developmental Education
     • Embed study skills strategies into math curriculum pilot
     • Created new position/division for college readiness
      
    
2. Create an institutional culture of student success (Shared Ownership)
   • Adjunct faculty in-service workshop  
   • Developmental education webinar series via CTE
    

 Year 3 Objectives

1. Improving College Readiness
   • Mandatory Placement Testing
     • Review advisement and placement occurrences as a result of the intervention and develop a student success plan document
     • Review ramification of possible mandatory placement policy
      
   • Evaluate developmental fast-track courses
   • Implement a No Late Registration policy
   • Explore Go-Week and Peer Mentoring concepts
