Trojans Flex Their Muscle Over Kankakee
The Trojans improved to 21-7 after an 8-4 win April 11 over Kankakee at Symonds-Puckett Field. Triton has not relied on the long ball this season with just two home runs as a team entering the contest, but doubled that total against the Cavaliers. The Trojans were powered by three-run home runs from both Trey Martin and Tom DiCristina to jump out to an 8-0 lead. Joe Toedt did the rest on the hill, improving his to mark to 3-0 with eight dominating innings of shutout baseball as the Trojans avenge a 13-8 loss earlier this season to Kankakee.
