Triton head men's basketball coach Steve Christiansen hit a career milestone Dec. 4 at College of Lake County. Christiansen earned his 200th career win as Trojans head coach in Triton's 77-59 win over the Lancers in Grayslake. The victory for Christiansen was also significant because it tied him with Clarence Griffin for 2nd on the Triton all-time coaching wins list. Christiansen in his 9th season at the helm moved into sole possession of the 2nd spot two days later in the Trojans 72-65 win at Black Hawk.
