Men's Basketball Finishes Strong at Milwaukee

Life on the road can be challenging in the N4C conference and the Triton men's basketball answered the bell in Milwaukee Jan. 12. The Trojans improved to 2-0 in league play, 13-4 overall after a hard fought 85-75 win. Milwaukee rallied from an 11-point deficit to grab a 53-48  lead with 12 minutes left. But the Trojans responded with 7 straight to retake the lead for good en route to a 19-8 run. Paul Beene paced Triton with 16 points. Sophmores Darian White and Justin Newell had 12 points apiece. White added 10 rebounds, 7 steals and 5 assists. Demetrius Starks finished with 11.

The sophomore from Simeon earned NJCAA, Division II, First Team All-American honors! Bryant was also named to the Region IV All-Tournament Team, First Team All-Region and the N4C Conference Most Valuable Player.
