Triton Adds Track and Field

The Athletic Department is proud to announce the re-launch of intercollegiate Men's and Women's Track and Field to begin competition in the spring of 2014. The program return's after a 20-year absence and the teams will be the 9th and 10th sports offerings at Triton. "We're very excited about bringing track and field back," said Athletic Director Harry McGinnis. "To add sports in a time when many institutions are removing them shows Triton's commitment to athletics." About : Niang had 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field in the Trojans 80-65 win over Morton College. The sophomore added five rebounds, six assists and two steals.
