Provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install and configure the Microsoft Windows Network Operating System (NOS) for servers on stand-alone and client computers that are part of a workgroup or client-server domain. Includes installing, managing disks, configuring network protocols, DNS, Active Directory services, setting up and managing user accounts and groups, network printers, auditing resources and events, Active Directory, Group Policy, managing data storage, backing up and restoring data, and network system recovery.
