NUM 262◊ Nuclear Medicine Pharmacy I

Essentials of radio-pharmaceuticals, diagnostic vs. therapeutic, review of new drug approval process, properties of technetium, chemistry and quality control tests are covered. Fundamental concepts of radiopharmaceutical design, preparation and localization for materials utilized in cardiac, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and central nervous systems are presented.
