VIC 275 Designing for Social Media

Basics of planning and designing for social media. Introduction to design theories used for industry standard media platforms, such as blogging software, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. Students will apply hands-on experience in exploring the use of graphic design principles and software, content design, search engine knowledge and marketing of social media. Students successfully completing this course will be able to design an online presence for client-based campaigns.
