GOVERNOR QUINN VISITS TRITON
On October 28, 2014, Dr. Patricia Granados welcomed Governor Pat Quinn to Triton’s campus as he announced his support in allocating funds to complete the construction for the new Health and Science building. The funding will also be used to purchase state-of-the-art technology for health-related programs including Occupational Therapy, Surgical Technology, and Nursing. Triton College thanks Governor Quinn for his continued support.
BOND REVENUE CAMPUS RENEWAL PROJECTS
On October 7, 2014 a special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held to hear input from community members, students, and employees on the proposed campus improvement projects. The renovations will create spaces for new programs, help the community stay vibrant and ensure students are ready for the future.
DR. GRANADOS ATTENDS THE FALL FAMILY FUN FEST
On Saturday, September 27th, Dr. Granados attended Triton College's annual Fall Family Fun Fest. She had the opportunity to engage with employees and community members as they raced through the corn maze and made their way through the pumpkin patch. The HIA department provided delicious pumpkin pies and hosted a pastry decorating station for children. The Fall Fest featured face painting, great food and music.
