ALUMNI FAMILY PICNIC

On Saturday, June 8th, 2013, we hosted an Alumni Family Picnic. This event was open to all alumni along with their family and friends and over 150 came out to enjoy the fun-filled day. Activities included face painting, Bingo, assorted games, a scavenger hunt, a traditional picnic bbq, music and more! The event was a great success. 

HILLSIDE VILLAGE HONOR DAY

On Tuesday, April 30, 2013, we honored the Village of Hillside on the patio of our Fine Arts Building. The event was a celebration of our long-existing partnership with the Village of Hillside and provided an additional opportunity to engage and dialogue around the development of new relationships in support of the 504 district community and student success. This event was a huge success and enjoyable time for family and friends, filled with music, entertainment, refreshments and plenty of fun activities. 

STEM Fair

A strong product of our educational partnerships here at Triton, the Annual STEM Fair at Triton College was held on April 25th, 2013. The fair was a day of hands-on activities related to science, technology, engineering and math for 5th-8th grade students from our district grade schools. The students participated in a CSI crime buster activity, explored elements of health and learning by taking their own pulse and constructed bridge models! About 180 middle school students from 9 school districts attended this event and were immersed in Triton’s world of STEM! The event was extremely successful and engaging. We were happy to have some of our very own Triton students instructing the middle school learners in their various activities, making this truly a learning experience for both ends of our K-8 partnership.
