MULTI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AFTER-HOURS EVENT

 On Tuesday, March 5th at 5:30pm, Dr. Granados welcomed over 100 members of various chambers of commerce onto Triton's campus for an after-hours event with Triton administrators in addition to Board Trustees. The evening featured a presentation from Doug Whitley, President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, focused on partnerships between businesses and educational institutions. Guests enjoyed refreshments while mingling and connecting over opportunities for collaboration and partnership. This event also showcased the talents of Triton students, as the Horticulture department decorated the event space with beautiful floral arrangements and Hospitality department's mixology students served beverages.

PACK THE PLACE FAMILY NIGHT

 On Wednesday, February 19th at 4:00pm, the Alumni Relations Office and Student Services hosted Pack the Place Family Night, for Triton students, alumni and their families. In addition to entertainment and family-friendly activities, they will have the opportunity to cheer for our Women's and men's basketball teams during their games that evening. Dr. Granados encourages students and alums to attend this awesome event!

 COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE MET FEBRUARY 11, 2014

 

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) met on Triton's campus Tuesday, February 11, 2014 to engage around many important initiatives regarding the college and service to Triton's district communities. CAC is comprised of a number of community leaders who are dedicated to partnerships between education and the community and student success. The agenda on February 11th included information on the institution's progress with strategic planning.
