Advisor Information

Advisors are individuals who, out of interest and dedication, volunteer their time and talents to help student clubs and organizations. Much of the success enjoyed by the programs at Triton College is directly related to the interest and efforts of advisors. Advisors provide knowledge, guidance and direction to new and continuing members of the organization. Each semester, the organizations are highly dependent on their advisor to assist them carry out the programs, traditions and services of the organization.

The selection of the organization’s advisor is up to the members of the particular group. The advisor selected should be committed to the values of traditional and non-traditional, out-of-classroom experiences of the college student. From this commitment, the advisor would seek to involve all segments of the Triton College community, faculty, staff and students, in the organization’s programs.

The Office of Student Life is always looking for faculty, mid-managers or administrators to advise our clubs and organizations on campus. If interested in signing up, please print and fill out the Advisor Interest Form below and submit it to the Office of Student Life, Student Center Bldg. B, Room: B-240.
