Meet Our Faculty

Seth McClellan, Mass Communications Faculty

What do you enjoy about teaching at Triton?

I enjoy seeing students take control of their education and career goals.

How do you contribute to the success of Triton College and its students?

My students spend lots of time making short videos by using our high-definition cameras and production studio. My video classes are all very hands-on and students get lots of practical experience making movies.

What do you do when you’re not teaching at Triton?

I produce films and TV programs. I directed a documentary about Martin Luther King's work with the Chicago Freedom Movement that aired on TV and played in lots of schools and film festivals. I co-produced a feature film that film critic Roger Ebert called a top-ten "Best Art Films of 2010".

What does it mean to you to have tenure as an educator?

Getting tenure allows me to focus on what’s important – helping my students succeed.
