The Adult Transition Program 
This program is designed to get you on the road to educational success. Through this program you can use the following free services: 

Counseling
Triton's counselors can help you with:
  • Planning your academic and career goals. Then you will be assisted in planning your course work so that you can achieve those goals.
  • Solving personal problems.
Job Placement
Our job placement specialist can assist you with:
  • Creating a resume.
  • Find your special job.
  • Providing career guidance and making appropriate referrals.
  • Developing professional interviewing skills.
Advising
Advisors are available to help you with:
  • Questions you may have regarding the classes offered through Triton, including ESL, GED, Evening and Adult High School, college and career courses.
  • Information on how to evaluate foreign credentials and understand the American school system.
  • Planning your academic and career goals. Then you will be assisted in planning your course work so that you can achieve those goals.
  • Scheduling and registering for college and career courses when you are ready.
  • Listening to your concerns.
Peer Counselors
Peer counselors are currently enrolled college-credit students who now work for our department. They can:
  • Answer basic questions regarding the AE programs.
  • Share information on their success strategies.
