Facilities

Triton College offers excellent facilities for its students, faculty, staff and the entire community to enjoy. Whether it’s state-of-the-art classroom space, athletic facilities, computer labs, performance space, the library or the renowned Cernan Earth and Space Center, Triton College is committed to maintaining the best and most up-to-date facilities for public and private use. Many of our facilities are available for rental, including classrooms and conference spaces, computer labs, dining rooms, athletics and recreation facilities, and gallery and performance space. Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides free face-to-face and online tutoring, mentoring and academic review workshops. The ASC also maintains a variety of student support resources, such as models, textbooks, videos and cutting edge technology. Students also can access the Learning Communities Lounge.
Bakery
Triton’s Hospitality Department runs a fully operational retail bakery that also serves as a culinary laboratory for Hospitality students. Open to the public, the Bakery sells a variety of fine baked goods, and accepts special orders in person or via phone.
Bookstore
Located in the B Building on the Triton campus, the Triton College bookstore sells new and used textbooks, reference books, and general reading material, as well as office supplies, software, electronic products, gifts, and a full line of Triton apparel.
Cernan Earth and Space Center
A public planetarium on the campus of Triton College, the Cernan Center offers regularly scheduled Earth and sky shows, children's shows, and laser light shows. It also can provide a unique location for meetings, receptions or employee appreciation nights.
Child Development
The Triton College Child Development Center offers pre-school and toddler programs. Flex-time is a special program for students with children. While students attend classes, children learn in a safe, caring environment on the college campus.
Classrooms Labs and Lecture Halls
Triton maintains quality classrooms, labs, and lecture halls that feature state-of-the-art electronic equipment, computers, and audio-visual services. Many of these facilities are available for rental at a reasonable price.
College Center
The College Center is a place to meet other students and faculty, participate in campus activities and enjoy diverse dining opportunities. In addition to campus activities, the College Center houses the Welcome Center, the Admission and Records Office, Counseling, Transfer Center, Career Services, Cooperative Education, Health Services, Assessment Services, Registration, Student Government Association, Program Board, Campus Ministry, Multicultural Center, Financial Aid and Veterans Offices, Cyber Lounge, as well as Parachutes, the student lounge, and dining facilities for staff and students.
Educational Technology Resource Center (ETRC)
ETRC supports the college curriculum and encourages effective learning by distributing and processing material to support all distance learning education. The ETRC staff provides learning materials and curriculum in a variety of formats, including video, audio, interactive laser disk, DVD and computer assisted programs.

Fitness Center
Triton's Fitness Center in the R Building features state of-the-art cardio, strength, stability and flexibility equipment The "Super Circuit" includes both a cardio and muscle toning workout in as little as 15 minutes. Improve your "Total Fitness" and overall health.
Food Services
Triton College's food service is operated by Clavio's.
Independent Study Courses (ISC)
Students enrolled in university transfer programs may pursue a maximum of four semester hours of independent study under the supervison of an instructor.
Learning Resource Center
Open to students and the public alike, the Triton College Library in the A Building contains more than 75,000 books and other materials, 475 current periodical subscriptions, and numerous print and electronic indexes to journal articles.
Meeting and Dining Rooms
Triton offers a wide selection of meeting and/or dining room space that can be configured to accommodate groups of different sizes. Many of these facilities are available for rental at a reasonable price.
Online Courses
Most of our online classes are in BlackBoard.
Robert M. Collins Center
Triton's Robert M. Collins Center offers a wealth of athletic and recreational facilities, including indoor and outdoor sports fields and courts, a fitness center, a dance studio, the Performing Arts Center, an indoor track and swimming pool. Most of these facilities are available for rental at a reasonable price.

Teaching and Learning Center
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) promotes a campuswide commitment to lifelong professional learning through diverse activities and resources that enhance the teaching for learning process. The Triton College Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides resources for full-time and adjunct faculty, including workshops, courses, recognition events, brown bag lunches, mentoring programs, books and publications. The TLC is located in room L-210 West. Ideas for TLC programs are developed by Triton's Professional Development Committee. The committee members represent various areas and disciplines of the college.
Triton College Performing Arts Center
The Triton College Performing Arts Center is located in the Robert M. Collins Center (East campus). It comfortably seats 412.
WACC
The Writing Across the Curriculum Center works directly with instructors in order to better understand the needs of students.
