Employee Alumni Reconnect at Triton College
Triton College showed its appreciation for its employee alumni by hosting a "meet and greet" with the president on Tuesday, Jan. 12. Employee alumni were invited to join the celebration by participating in breakfast, conversation and camaraderie assembled by the college's Alumni Relations Office.
Dr. Patricia Granados, the president of Triton, gave a welcoming speech thanking all attendees who have dedicated so much of their time and effort towards the success of the college.
"The college boasts 294 employees that are alumni," said Granados. "You are a reflection of what Triton College is all about, helping individuals move towards their personal and educational goals."
Brenda Jones Watkins, Alumni Relations coordinator, was on hand to greet and make sure the guests were well provided for.
"Recently the Alumni Relations Office established goals to cultivate lifelong involvement not just with employees but with all former students," said Watkins. "It is important for the college to celebrate with you and commemorate your status as Triton College alumni."
