Triton Alumni Reunited and Recognized
In an effort to strengthen communication and build relationships, Triton College hosted the first Career Alumni Recognition Dinner on Sept. 7. Over 100 recent career education graduates from 15 career programs were acknowledged and shared their experiences from Triton.
Alumni were welcomed with a memorable message by Dr. Patricia Granados, president of Triton College. Graduates also heard from the Board President of the Triton College Foundation David King, Dean of Careers Cheryl Antonich, Vice President of Institutional Advancement Marge Stabile, and Executive Director of Marketing Tom Olson.
The event allowed alumni graduates to meet and network with other alumni and members of Triton's staff. "Graduates were excited to reconnect with students from their program. It was like a mini reunion," stated Lindsey Westley, director of Special Initiatives.
In addition to dinner, alumni graduates took part in raffle prizes and centerpiece giveaways. Anita Shaw and Rhonda Douglas won White Sox tickets, donated by the Triton College Foundation, and over 15 guests walked away with the lovely centerpieces from the event.
