Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser Certificate

Illinois offers three ranks of appraiser licensure. Associate, Certified Residential and Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. As a prerequisite to taking the state examination, you must successfully complete the required classroom hours for that particular rank. The Appraisal Qualification Board (AQB) adopted new criteria (requirements) in February 2004 for obtaining a Certified Appraisal License. We are currently offering the following courses for the Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser License.

  • RES E04 - Residential Market Analysis and Highest And Best Use.
  • RES E05 - Residential Site Valuation and Cost Approach
  • RES E23 - Residential Report Writing and Case Studies
The remaining required courses for the Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser License are currently under development.
