Triton Welcomes Back Kellee Robertson as Head Coach!

The Triton College women's basketball program competes at the NJCAA Division II level. The team has recorded several winning seasons over it's 30+ year history. In addition, the program has produced numerous all-conference and all-region selections.

During the 2014-15 season, Candace Madison became Triton's first All-Region IV selection since 2007. The Proviso West High School graduate scored 557 points, the third highest single-season total in program history. In addition, Madison broke school records for free throws made and attempted in a single season! Madison earned Triton's highest athletic honor by being named Triton College Female Athlete of the Year for the 2014-15 term!

As a team the 2014-15 Lady Trojans broke a school record for most three-point shots made in a game with 19 over Wright College! Marie Chew out of Taft broke the individual three-pointers made record in that contest with nine. Triton had their best showing in N4C conference play since 2007 and earned a home playoff game for the third year in a row.

The 2015-16 Triton women's basketball program will be under new leadership, as former Triton student-athlete Kellee Robertson returns to Triton after a successful 11-year run as girls varsity coach at Proviso West High School.  The Lady Trojans will have a solid core players coming back including: Candace Madison (Proviso West), Arlena D'Amato (Ridgewood), and Courtney Marshall (OPRF). The squad will have a number of newcomers and transfers led by recent signees: Coleanna Funches, 6'2" (Proviso West), Taylor Pate, 6'4' (Proviso West) and Alondra Chavarria, 5'7" (Leyden).
