ENG C41 Storytelling for Children

Storytelling is an ancient art that can be used as a learning tool for children. It encourages expression, memory development, clear communication, vocabulary-building and imagination. Storytelling also helps children develop better comprehension and listening skills, and can increase their interest in reading. Students will learn by both being the storytellers and also the audience for guest storytellers. (Recommended for children, ages 8-12.)
