ETC C05 Jr. High Acting Clinic

Here’s a great introduction to theater and acting! Understand and practice proper speaking skills, timing and delivery of lines, facial expressions, body language, and voice projection in a workshop setting. Mastering these skills and techniques can help you feel cool, confident and convincing when speaking to small, informal groups or acting before a sea of faces. The basics of pantomime, improvisation, drama, comedy and satire will be introduced and discussed. Small group exercises and performances (may include programmed dialogs) will be planned and conducted for participative, interactive classroom activities. It’s an instructive start towards your first “curtain call!” (Recommended for children ages 12-14.)
