KDS C02 “What’s Up Doc?”—Creative Cartooning For Kids

Don’t let that rascally rabbit fool you! Learn how Bugs leaps across your TV screen or how Garfield chows down his lasagna. Whether it’s a newspaper cartoon like “Peanuts” or a movie cartoon like “Roger Rabbit,” basic principles of drawing and tracing, perspective, inking techniques, facial expressions, body movement and motion, and composition will bring life to the favorite cartoon character that’s been running around in your own imagination. Get tips from the work of famous cartoonists to create your own cartoon collage. Instructor may ask you to bring some materials from home. (Recommended for children ages 8-11.)
