The history of the intellectual and cultural development of Latin-America. This course will examine the origins of this non-western culture beginning with pre-Colombian civilizations and continue into contemporary Latin America. Adaptations to and influence on Western culture in political, social and economic development also will be discussed. IAI: H2 903N
