    Dr. Anne Thompson Moore Memorial Scholarship - African American Women's Support Group

    SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT:
    Up to $250 for tuition and fees

    BACKGROUND:
    The Dr. Annie Thompson Moore Scholarship was created in 1997 by the African American Women’s Support Group in memory of Dr. Moore, the Director of the Project Advance and Upward Bound programs. Annie devoted her life to mentoring and instilling in students the importance of an education.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Full-time student
    • Applicant must be female and African American
    • Completed at least 30 credit hours at Triton College
    • G.P.A. of 2.50 or above
    • Your application must include a 300 word essay that documents your educational goals

    DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION:
    September 1 for fall  
    February 1 for spring
