•  Grants Development Office

The Grants Development Office provides leadership for the institution and its stakeholders in the areas of grants development and management by providing support and assistance to faculty, staff, and administrators to identify, pursue, and obtain external funding opportunities that develop, enhance, and enrich educational programs and services available to our students and broader community; and by conducting grants management activities with integrity and in compliance with institutional policies and applicable laws.

     Major Goals 2008-2009

    • Identify, collect, and distribute funding opportunities to internal stakeholders that address their academic interests and the needs of educational programs, and services.

    • Facilitate the proposal development process by working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators to produce successful proposals.

    • Engage Triton College in funding opportunities with local, state, federal, corporate, and private sectors.

    • Provide staff development activities in grantsmanship campus-wide.

    • Integrate grants support into institutional plans, particularly those related to academic support, facilities, human resources, and technology.

    • Support the development of partnership activities with district schools, businesses industries, and community organizations.
