Important WebCT Requirements back to topBrowsers
There are only two "supported" browsers for accessing a WebCT course: Netscape Navigator (or Communicator) and Internet Explorer. Other browsers may not have the same kind of javascript functionality that WebCT requires. It is highly recommended that you use one of the two browsers below.
Click here if you need to update your PC's browser to:
Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 4
Cache
The cache settings of the browser should be set so that "document in cache is compared to document on network EVERY TIME." This fixes several potential problems in the Quiz portion of WebCT.
Smart Update
The "Smart Update" feature of Netscape should be turned OFF for best results.
