MAT 101- Quantitative Literacy
If you scored a"6" on the placement test or a 23 on the ACT or if you completed MAT 085 with a "C" or better and if you are at college level in reading and writing, you may take this class. It is a 3 credit general education class covering topics such as voting theory, normal curves, symmetry, algebra.

This class is widely transferable state-wide and meets the mathematics requirement for many of Triton's AA and AS degrees. Check with your counselor to be sure.

This course is not a prerequisite for any other course.
