MAT 110- College Algebra
If you scored a"6" on the placement test or a 23 on the ACT or if you completed MAT 085 with a "C" or better , you may take this class. It is a 5 credit class covering standard college algebra topics (see outline).

This class is widely transferable state-wide but does not meet the mathematics requirement for Triton's AA and AS degrees. Check with your counselor to be sure.

This course with MAT 114 is a prerequisite for the calculus sequence, starting with MAT 131. It is also a prerequisite for CHM 132, CHM 141, CHM 234 and CHM 235.
