MAT 131- Calculus I
If you scored a"102" on the placement test, a 28 on the mathematics portion of the ACT or if you completed both MAT 110 and MAT 114 with a "C" or better OR you completed MAT 111 with a "C" or better , AND if you are at college level in reading and writing, you may take this class. It is a 5 credit class covering the standard topics of calculus I.

This class is widely transferable state-wide and meets the mathematics requirement for Triton's AA and AS degrees. Check with your counselor to be sure.

This course a prerequisite for MAT 133, Calculus II.
