MAT 170- Elementary Statistics
If you scored a"6" on the placement test or a 23 on the ACT or if you completed MAT 085 with a "C" or better AND if you are at college level in reading and writing, you may take this class. It is a 3 credit class covering standard elementary statistics topics (see outline).

This class is widely transferable state-wide and it meets the mathematics requirement for Triton's AA and AS degrees. Check with your counselor to be sure.

This course is not a prerequisite for any other course at Triton.
