    Model Illinois Government (MIG)

Model Illinois Government (MIG) is an intercollegiate simulation of the different branches of government in the state of Illinois. Colleges across the state send representatives to this program.

Every year, Triton sends a delegation of 12 or more students to participate in MIG. Eligibility is based on attendance at preparatory meetings and completion or concurrent enrollment in PSC 151, American State and Urban Politics. MIG takes place in late February or early March each year.

Triton College pays for the transportation and hotel costs. The student participant is expected to fund their own meals and spending money.
