Donate to Triton College's Hurricane Relief Supply Drive - Starting Sept. 11

As much of the Gulf and Atlantic Coast Regions prepare for the potentially catastrophic Hurricane Irma, and others continue the long cleanup process following Hurricane Harvey – Triton College students are stepping up in a big way by collecting much needed supplies to help the hundreds of thousands of people impacted by these historic storms.

We invite community members to donate unopened items at Building O (west campus), located at 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11, through Friday Sept. 15.

Accepted items:

  • Toiletries (i.e. shampoo, body wash, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, tampons, etc.)
  • Diapers
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Black construction-grade trash bags
  • Mops and buckets
  • Heavy-duty work gloves
  • Latex/Nitrile gloves
  • Box fans
  • Bottled water

(Donations of food, hazardous materials (bleach, heavy cleaning supplies etc.) clothing or furniture cannot be accepted.)

Elk Gove, Ill.-based Hollander Storage & Moving Co. has graciously donated their services and will transport items to the affected areas where they will be distributed by the United Way.
