Triton’s ‘Executive Series’ Event to Feature Chicago Fed Official – Oct. 31

Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Economic Outreach Specialist Cindy Ivanac-Lillig will share expertise from her career in the financial industry during the Triton College School of Business’ upcoming ‘Executive Series’ Event.

Triton College students and community members are invited to attend the free event on Oct. 31, at 9:30 a.m. in room J-107 (J Building).

Ivanac-Lillig leads a variety of economic education programs aimed at educators, students and professional associations across the Midwest. She frequently speaks at professional development seminars on the role of the Fed and monetary policy. She is currently launching a Business School Speaker Series that aims to bring the Fed onto campuses throughout the district.

Prior to joining the Chicago Fed, Ivanac-Lillig worked in microfinance for a large international organization, where she oversaw a multi-million dollar USAID microfinance program. Her background also includes a number of years in financial consulting with Ernst & Young and work abroad for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Ivanac-Lillig received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Boston College and her Master’s Degree in International Development and Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Triton’s School of Business’ Executive Series was launched in 2013, and is intended to inspire and encourage individuals to think about academic and career paths that can help prepare them to succeed in the global workforce.
