'Water Water Everywhere' - Nov. 8

Join us for a conversation with Triton College science professors about one of our most important natural resources – water.

“Water Water Everywhere” will take place Wednesday, Nov. 8 at noon in the silent room of the Triton College Library (Room A-321)

Professors Joe Beuchel, Beth Cliffel, Wayne Baran & Sheldon Turner will lead a discussion on why Earth scientists now consider the classic water cycle of precipitation and evaporation to be the secondary water cycle, which is just one tiny piece of the larger primary water cycle that brings water deep into the Earth's mantle and then back out through plate tectonics and volcanic eruptions.
