Be The Change! Chicago Police Dept. to Hold Career Info Sessions at Triton College - Feb. 26

Community members are invited to attend an event at Triton College to learn more about how they can start a rewarding career in which they’ll serve and protect members of their community.

Chicago Police Department representatives will be on campus Monday, Feb. 26 from 9-11 a.m. to share information about careers with the Chicago Police Department and to guide prospective candidates through the application process to become an entry level police office.

The information sessions will take place in room R-221 of the Robert M. Collins Center (R Building) located on the east side of Triton’s campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove.

The presentations are free to attend and open to the entire community. Prospective applicants can apply to become police officers on site following the presentation. The Chicago Police Department is accepting applications through Feb. 28, 2018. Visit for more information about applying to become a Chicago police officer.

During the application process, police recruits can also earn their ‘Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report’ (“POWER”) physical fitness test certification on Triton’s campus. Triton’s POWER test is accepted by more than 70 area police agencies, including the Chicago Police Department. Click here for more info on the POWER Test.
