Minerva Fuentes wears her success proudly every time she dons her Triton College Student Association (TCSA) t-shirt. As TCSA's current president and also the Student Trustee who sits on the college's Board of Trustees, Minnie is a vocal advocate for student success and program completion. Now in her second and final year at Triton, Minnie has made her own academic success a reality even while juggling her studies with the challenging life of a single mom. Upon graduating from Triton in June 2012, she plans to continue her education and earn her bachelor's degree. Minnie's daughter, who attends the kindergarten program at Triton, will graduate at the same time as her mom .... truly a special achievement for both to celebrate along with the entire Triton community!
