Bed Lab

The RN Re-entry Update course is designed for RNs with an active IL license who have been away from the clinical setting for a period of time. The course includes: current role of the nurse, nursing process, basic pharmacology, medication administration, IV, phlebotomy, documentation, quality and legal issues. The theory component is online and there is also a skills lab and clinical component. The clinical experience is done at a nearby hospital with a RN preceptor. Health requirements, criminal background check, and current CPR is required for the clinical component of the course. Required nursing texts for the course can be purchased at the Triton College bookstore.  Triton offers an online payment plan.
