RN Re-entry Update Course

Triton College offers a 16-week RN Re-entry
program for Illinois RNs who have not actively practiced in recent years, have
an active Illinois RN license and wish to return to clinical practice. The
first 8 weeks of the course take place on campus in a lecture classroom format
to review theoretical foundations. The second 8 weeks will take place at a
hospital in the clinical setting administering care to patients.
Students must complete requirements prior to attending the clinical portion of
the class. A criminal background check, physical and drug screen are required.
Students must provide proof of Illinois RN license, BLS (CPR) and health
Physical tasks include; continuous standing and walking; lifting 10-100 lbs frequently and over 101 lbs. occasionally; carrying 10 -20 lbs. occasionally, pushing and pulling up to 10l lbs.
