I have been very active in the Triton College community, establishing a tutoring program that was approved by the state as a Supplemental Service Provider. I also held the position of past president of the Northlake Children's Learning Center, in the city of Northlake.
I have a passion for teaching and the success of my students.
I was laid off from a previous job after 20+ years as a retail buyer with no concept of what I would pursue as a future occupation. The tough times inspired me to create an opportunity when the odds were against me, and I decided upon a teaching career.
