The pairing of RHT 096 and RHT 101 is an exciting curricular combination designed to enable you to complete the prerequisite RHT 096 while, at the same time, taking RHT 101, a course for which you can earn 3 college credits and complete one required writing course. This is a great opportunity for you to succeed at developing more quickly the writing skills you need to be successful in your college career. Also, you save time and money by completing these two classes in one semester.

THE REAL SOCIAL NETWORK: HOW GROUP BEHAVIOR INFLUENCES OUR WORLD
In this linked course, you'll learn to intelligently discuss key concepts from the field of sociology, understand methods of investigation, and analyze major social issues in contemporary American society from a social scientist's perspective. Much of your analysis will be in the form of written assignments and papers. Instead of tackling these on your own, RHT 096 will introduce you to basic essay writing strategies, rewriting techniques and citing sources, all of which you can apply to your SOC 100 work.
