    CAMPUS VISIT DAY

    Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, 6-7:30 p.m.
    A monthly information session where admission and financial aid topics are addressed. In addition, campus tours are provided for those who are interested in seeing our facilities and the resources available at Triton. During the event prospective students will have opportunities to meet faculty.

    HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR DAY – INFORMATION SESSION FOR TRADITIONAL STUDENTS

    Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, 11 a.m.-2p.m.
    Students on that day will:

    • Attend a free placement test workshop.
    • Start the enrollment process.
    • Submit an application.
    • Start the financial aid process.
    • Explore the campus.
    • Enjoy free hot dogs, ice cream and more.
     

     

     

    CAREER DISCOVERY DAY: ADULT LEARNERS INFORMATION SESSION

    Evening Session – English, Evening Session – Spanish
    Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, 6-7:30 p.m.
    “Start your better future today”
    An information session for adult students (25 years old and older) where admission and financial aid topics are addressed.

    Representatives from the following areas will be available:
    Career Services – job search, interview process, etc.
    Academics – select a program or a class that fits your current/future career.
    Continuing Education – enhance your job skills, be more marketable.



    BREAKFAST WITH HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELORS

    Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, 9-11 a.m.
    A relationship-building event where Triton College Admission staff can interact with counselors from area high schools. This is an opportunity for us to provide high school counselors with information regarding curriculum changes, recent initiatives updates, listing of upcoming recruitment events, etc.



    FALL COLLEGE VISIT DAY

    Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
    A multicultural event designed for our minority and at-risk student populations. The purpose of the event is to promote higher education and to motivate students in our community to attend college. It is an event that combines the previous Latino College Visit Day, African-American College Visit Day and Polish College Visit Day together.

    EARLY COLLEGE AWARENESS PROGRAM

    Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
    An event to promote college awareness early for K-8 students. The day includes presentations and demonstrations from different academic areas.



    VETERAN INFORMATION SESSION

    Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
    An event to honor veterans from our community and provide them with information about admission and financial aid. Free lunch will be served in Café 64.



    SUPER SATURDAY, A REGISTRATION DAY

    Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
    An event for those who would like to register for the spring semester. It is a one-stop shop where students can take placement exams, get a tour of the campus, complete Triton’s orientation program and meet with academic counselors in order to register for courses. In addition, students can meet with financial aid advisors to learn more about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

    TRITON & YOU – WORKSHOP AND APPRECIATION LUNCHEON FOR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELORS

    April 10, 2015, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    “Triton & You” workshop and appreciation luncheon for in-district high school counselors.



    CAREER DISCOVERY DAY: ADULT STUDENTS INFORMATION SESSION

    Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 6-7:30 p.m.
    An event designed for nontraditional students who would like to learn more about the career programs Triton has to offer. Prospective students will be able to meet with faculty from identified career programs, talk to transfer counselors and establish their career goals with a Career Services specialist.



    OPEN HOUSE

    Saturday, May 2, 2015, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
    A collaborative event with other departments on campus to inform prospective students about admission, financial aid, student life, student services, and career, adult, and continuing education programs.



     

    YOUTH LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

    June 23-24, 2015, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

    FAST PASS REGISTRATION

    An event designed for prospective and current students. On this day, students can take placement exams, tour the campus, complete Triton’s orientation program and meet with academic counselors and financial aid advisors to learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
