Rocket Camp
July 6-10, 2026 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It Really IS Rocket Science
Come build and launch model rockets at the Cernan Earth and Space Center! Before launch, campers will experiment with Newton's Laws, explore basic rocket science and safety, and experience rocket launches and more in the Cernan Center Planetarium.
Each student will build two rockets: one simple and one complex that they will take home after Launch Day.
Family and friends will be invited to attend the launch activities.
Meals are not provided. Students are expected to bring their own lunch and beverages
