The Triton College Board of Trustees consists of seven individuals, elected for six-year terms, who represent the voters of the district, and one student representative, who has an advisory vote, selected by the student body for a one-year term. The Board consists of the following distinguished members of our community.

BOARD RETREAT RESCHEDULED
The Board of Trustees Retreat will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. or immediately following the regular Board meeting if later.

BOARD OFFICERS AND STUDENT TRUSTEE SELECTED
At the April 28, 2009 Organizational Meeting of the Board of Trustees, the following Board Officers were elected:
Mark R. Stephens, Chairman
Donna L. Peluso, Vice Chairwoman
Diane Viverito, Secretary

Aaron Saunders took his oath of office as the new Student Trustee for 2009-2010.

BOARD MEETINGS SET
The Triton College Board of Trustees has approved its meeting schedule for calendar year 2010. The Board will hold public meetings in the Learning Resource Center Boardroom, A-300, convening in open session at 6:00 p.m. on the following dates.

Academic Affairs/Student Affairs Board Committee
The Academic Affairs/Student Affairs Board Committee is advisory, and makes reports and recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding academic and student matters.

Finance/ Maintenance & Operations Board Committee
The Finance/Maintenance & Operations Board Committee is advisory, and makes reports and recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding financial and operations matters.
