Specific skills in the diverse industry of Visual Communication are offered to provide background in layout, design, typography, illustration and production design techniques for print, Web, and multimedia. Computer skills are developed as a design, communication and production tool using software including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design, Quark XPress, Dreamweaver.
Flash, PowePoint and other current software packages as necessary. Course selections in graphic arts design, graphic arts production, web design, package design, digital photography and digital video allow students the opportunity to acquire specialized skills.
