About the Center
The Triton College Student Leadership Institute is the college’s commitment to engage and educate students in the principles and techniques of effective leadership. The Institute offers a variety of leadership opportunities, activities, and programs free to all Triton Students. The center can help you:
- Learn effective leadership skills
- Identify and develop personalized leadership styles
- Learn and apply value based leadership concepts
- Better market their leadership experience to employers
- Develop and support mentor-mentee relationships
- Develop and apply networking skills
Student Ambassador
Program
A student program aimed at exploring and enhancing leadership qualities
and skills by volunteering in the Triton College Campus and Community. The
program requires students to accumulate 50 points as volunteers through each
semester in both or either college and/or community activities.
Power Packs
A series of leadership workshops developed by the Office of Student Life that cover
topics related to leadership and personal development.
LearnIT
A series of workshops designed to help individuals in everyday topics.
