2010 Season Review
The Triton College softball team finished the 2010 season with a 32-28 record. The Lady Trojans placed third in the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) and third in the Region IV Championships. Advancing to semifinals, the Lady Trojans fell to the eventual champion, Kankakee College. A 7-1 victory over the College of Lake County earned them the third place finish.
The program has also been regarded as one the best in the nation academically, producing several NJCAA Academic All-Americans. The 2006 teams' overall grade point average was ranked in the top 10 by the National Fastpitch Coaches Assoication (NFCA).
During the past season, the team continued reaching out to the community by hosting its third annual "Swings for Susan" game to raise breast cancer awareness. The Lady Trojans raised $2,000 for the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation.
