COT 246◊ Construction Internship I

1-4 credits

Supervised construction management experience at a college-selected office. Students participate in various construction management careers, including, but not necessarily limited to: construction project manager, field superintendent, claim analyst, safety officer, schedular, cost estimator, land surveyor, plan examiner, code enforcement official and building inspector.

Prerequisite: COT 101◊ or concurrent enrollment and completion of twelve semester hours, including two additional courses in the discipline.

Laboratory: 5-20 hours
