Emphasizes the transition from student to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), including preparation for licensure exam, job placement skills, and assuming the management responsibilities of the LPN; Clinical experiences emphasize the legal and ethical responsibilities in managing care for a group of individuals with commonly recurring adaptation problems. (One 100-level nursing course may be repeated with approval of the Nursing Admission Committee.)

Prerequisite: NUR 155◊ and NUR 156

Lecture: 3 hours

Clinical Laboratory: 2 hours
