Architectural Transfer to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Updated November 28, 2005)

The transfer program listed below will enable the student to enter either the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Junior, with two additional years remaining to complete a B.S. in Architectural Studies. It is not necessary to receive a degree at Triton in order to be eligible to transfer.  Students can take all of these courses at Triton College to allow them to transfer smoothly without loss of credit or time in school.

Special information for transfer to UIUC:

Portfolio review is not required for placement.

A maximum of 60 credit hours may be transferred.

You must apply in January to be admitted to the fall semester.  You are not able to transfer into the spring semester.  You must have a 3.20 grade point average (a solid "B")  to be admitted.

You must have completed two semesters of Calculus and the History of Western Civilization sequence before transferring.

If you have completed only 2 years of a foreign language in high school, you will be required to take one more semester of the same foreign language you had in high school.
