Jazz Ensemble Concert

Triton College will host a jazz ensemble and combo concert on Thursday, May 9, 7:30 p.m., in the Performing Arts Center, R Building (Room R-218). The event is free and open to the public. RSVP is not required. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature Triton’s Jazz Ensemble Big Band directed by Dr. Timothy Burns and Triton’s seven player Jazz Combo directed by James Davis. This two-hour event will consist of a mix of Latin jazz, Afro Cuban jazz, bebop and a variety of pieces.

A mix of students and community members of all ages will be performing.
