The University Center at Triton College
Southern Illinois University Carbondale

It's an SIU Universe
If you like the classroom experience, but you can't make it to the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus. We will bring our campus closer to you - as near as Triton College. You'll have the quintessential experience of being in a college classroom with an SIU teacher and you'll be closer to home. It's almost like we make house calls.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and Applied Engineering from SIU is offered in a weekend format that is designed to allow adults to pursue a bachelor’s degree while working full time. It includes 48 semester hours of college courses covering such subjects as Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, computer-aided manufacturing, supervision, and project management. These courses, required for SIUC’s Industrial Management and Applied Engineering (IMAE) major, are scheduled over a 24-month period. A typical course would be scheduled on alternate weekends, with daylong classes held on both Saturdays and Sundays. Classes begin promptly at 8 a.m. SIUC’s IMAE program is accredited by The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE).
