Triton men’s soccer team to host summer youth camp
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE JUNE 9, 2014
The Triton College men’s soccer team will host summer youth camps for boys and girls ages 5-15 that will allow them to learn from Triton’s own collegiate players of the game!
During a three-week period from June 23 to Aug. 1, youth can get the experience of a lifetime training with Triton’s head soccer coach Piotr Sliwa and approximately 30 former Trojan players who have played key roles in helping Triton win five Region IV championships over the past six years. The camp will focus on the technical, tactical, physical and psychological requirements of the game at each age level.
The camps will be conducted from June 23-27, July 14-18 and July 28 to Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the soccer field, located adjacent to the Cernan Earth and Space Center on the west side of campus. On Fridays, sessions end at 2 p.m.
The cost of the camp ranges from $230-$250 (depending on age group) for one full-day session from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Youth can also participate for half days. Half-day rates are $190 per day from 8 a.m. to noon. Both prices include a Triton Soccer Camp t-shirt and lunch.
