College For Kids Summer 2025
This three-week summer program provides students a variety of different experiences that are both engaging and educational.
Week One
The first week of camp offers middle school-aged students the opportunity to choose one major area of study to focus on throughout the week, culminating in a Campers Showcase the final day of camp where they can present what they have learned to their families and friends. Campers have the opportunity to meet and learn from experts in the field, as well as access high-tech labs, gaining meaningful hands-on experience.
Week Two
The second week is Field Trip week where students will explore some of Chicago’s most iconic destinations!
Day 1: The Field Museum
Students will explore the museum’s many exhibits before enjoying a thrilling 3D movie.
Day 2: Soldier Field
On a private guided tour of this legendary stadium, students will visit the South Courtyard, Visitor’s Locker Room, Interview Room, Skyline Suite, and the new Soldier Field’s 100 Years of Memories Mural. The tour wraps up with an exciting on-field experience and a peek inside the Video Control Room.
Day 3: Brookfield Zoo
Students will hear from zoo professionals learning how each role contributes to the zoo’s operations. The day includes exploring the exhibits and a dolphin show!
Week Three
Week three, students will embark on an exploration of global cultures. Each day, they’ll dive into the traditions and stories of a different culture, and use that knowledge to participate in hands-on art projects from each culture. Students will celebrate diversity and creativity in this final week.
